My name is Vira Hope, aka Tiffiany Haley, mama goddess to 3 babes: Ivan the Great, Duchess Syra Jane, and baby Daley Haley. I am a work from home mama and so have the opportunity to also homeschool my kids. I am an advocate for unschooling in which children learn through their natural life experiences including play, household responsibilities, personal interests, travel, books, elective classes, family, mentors, and social interaction. Unschooling encourages exploration of activities initiated by the children themselves, believing that the more personal learning is, the more meaningful, well-understood and therefore useful it is to the child.
When I am not working, I enjoy gardening, belly dancing, basket weaving, knitting, reading, and just being a mom. Whenever we get a chance, the kids and I go for hikes, visit flea markets and yard sales, bird watching, dinosaur expeditions, ecstatic adventures into the depths of the forest to save the princess, and visit the drive-in from time to time.
I am also a Midwife Assistant, Birth/Postpartum Doula, Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, and Prenatal Yoga Instructor. When I was pregnant with my first child, I began educating myself on natural childbirth and haven’t looked back since. Each birth was a unique and amazing experience. The entire time I was in labor, I was surrounded by love, support, and encouragement. I received the motivation to believe in myself and what my body was created to do. Now I want to provide that support and motivation to other women, not only in birth, but also in life and the journey it brings.
